Subject: Help shape the future of Sloan Museum

We need your help shaping the future of Sloan Museum
As you may know, Sloan Museum received a grant from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation for the design phase of renovations to the museum. A newly designed facility will enhance future program and exhibit opportunities in an effort to provide Flint and Genesee County residents with a world-class museum experience.

Sloan Museum is working on these plans now.  There is an opportunity coming up quickly that I’d like to extend to you. Our architects, Haizlip Studios (based in Memphis), will be in town for a series of community meetings that will help influence our design. We would like to hold one specifically that gets input from our community leaders.

Date: Thursday, February 16, 2016
Time: Arrival 11:30 am, Meeting Noon to 1:00 pm
Who: Community Leaders (Lunch meeting)
Location: Flint Cultural Center Corporation 601 E. Second Street, Flint
Lunch will be served
The meeting should take about 1 hour.

If you can attend the forum to give us feedback, we would love to have you. Please respond to this message to RSVP. We look forward to your feedback.
