Calling all Historical Book Fans! Free Historical Book Club at Sloan this Fall!

Free Historical Book Club and Magic Tree House Kids Book Club Returns this Fall!

Every 3rd Saturday of the month at 10 a.m., Sloan Museum of Discovery hosts a free book club (included with museum general admission) in the Green Learning Lab. All books are affiliated with Flint's storied history. Book Club will conclude with a special guided tour through the Sloan Museum History Gallery where club members can connect with the book's historical references through real-life museum artifacts. This is a free gathering, included with Museum Admission. Advance registration is requested; walk-ins accepted. Learn more here.

*Note: Books are not included with Book Club participation. All participants are responsible for acquiring their own copy of the books for Book Club).

Join us on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 9:00 am for a special Magic Tree House Book Club at the Sloan Museum of Discovery’s Hagerman Street Tree House! Each book club meeting will include a discussion around the book and a hands-on activity that corresponds with the book. The book club experience is social and a great way to motivate kids to read, get them talking about books, and have them share their own ideas and perspectives. All books are a part of the Magic Tree House book series. This book club is free, included with museum admission. Space is limited; pre-registration is recommended.
