Sloan Museum of Discovery awaits you with four primary interactive galleries in hands-on science and history, plus the final weeks of the REAL BODIES exhibit in the FUN Gallery exhibition hall. And, thanks to Senator John Cherry, Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley, and Representative Phil Green, the first 500 students with current IDs will get in to see REAL BODIES for free on December 10! REAL BODIES: THE EXHIBITION - STUDENT DAY!

FREE admission for the first 500 students to the special exhibit, REAL BODIES, Sunday, December 10 only. All current students with ID are eligible (a savings up to $8 per person; general admission ticket is not included; residents of Genesee County receive free general admission due to the Arts Education & Cultural Enrichment millage).

Thanks to Senator John Cherry, City of Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley, and Representative Phil Green, the first 500 students with current IDs will get in to see the REAL BODIES exhibit for free on December 10! Current students of all ages (elementary school up through college students) are eligible. Free STUDENT DAY admission tickets to REAL BODIES are available in person only on December 10 with current valid student IDs. 38th Annual Holiday Walk
Tues., December 5, 5-8 p.m. 
Free festive events throughout the entire Flint Cultural Center campus.

Tree lighting with Santa at 5:15 p.m. in the green space off of East Kearsley Street, between Flint Institute of Arts, Longway Planetarium and FIM Flint Repertory Theatre. Visit Santa Claus at FIM Whiting Auditorium, and enjoy caroling, festive live music, free Cosmic Christmas planetarium shows, arts and crafts, ice carvings, fun holiday activities, and more! PLUS, a first look at the tribute Golden 1955 Bel Air in the lobby of Sloan Museum.

Food Trucks on East Kearsley Street available for meal purchases between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In December, we're having a Lego snowflake challenge! Use pictures of snowflakes as inspiration as you use Legos to build your own unique snowflake to put on display! Bonus challenge: Can you figure out a way to make it into an ornament? If you love a challenge - Come and test out your skill! Lego club is FREE, included with museum general admission.
