“Behind the Panels” Event August 2

-Celebrate Vintage Video Games, Comic Books, Toys, and other Pop Culture-

Sloan Museum of Discovery in the Flint Cultural Center campus is presenting the first-ever Behind the Panels after hours event this Saturday, August 2, 6-10 p.m., a unique 18+ night celebrating comic book culture, vintage gaming, and collectibles. 

The evening will feature special guest vendors including Media Reload, Comic Relief, and There and Back Again Toys, offering a wide array of comic books, action figures, video games, and other nostalgic treasures. 

Behind the Panels is the ultimate gathering for anyone who grew up with comic books, video games, and action figures—or just loves the stories and characters that shaped pop culture.

Admission to Behind the Panels is $5.00 for Genesee County residents and $15 for out-of-county guests. As a bonus, the admission ticket includes entry to the current traveling exhibit, Hall of Heroes, a 5000 square foot hands-on exhibition featuring the world of superheroes and pop culture icons. A cash bar and food for purchase will be available, making it the perfect night out for fans and collectors alike.
