Indoor Fun for Spring Break Week!
Both Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium will be open for Spring Break week March 31-April 6, 2025. Sloan Museum of Discovery will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday this week, and Noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Longway Planetarium has shows starting at noon (see the full schedule at Longway.org). Add-on the special traveling exhibit, 2theXtreme-Math Alive!, for just $5/person. |

Magic Tree House Free Kids' Book Club!This new book club for kids ages 7-11 starts Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m., and recurs every 3rd Saturday of the month by the Hagerman Street Gallery tree house. Each month, Ms. Jacquie will be featuring a selected book from The Magic Tree House series, written by Mary Pope Osbourne, and a hands-on activity that corresponds with the book. After you've enjoyed the hands-on fun at Sloan Museum's 4 primary galleries and the special temporary exhibit, 2theXtreme-Math Alive!, head across the street to see a planetarium show at Longway Planetarium.
