Who joined Woodstock Festival Poland Line-up? 
Two additions to the Second Stage line-up
CETI at Woodstock 2016 











CETI stands for Communication with Extraterrestrial Inteligence. The band began their activity in 1989 and since then, their work has been a series of creative experiments and musical successes. CETI skilfully blended heavy rock sounds with classical music, and collaborated with musical legends. The band are known for their rhythmical heavy rock compositions, with impressive guitar riffs and characteristic raspy vocals. 

Oberschleisen at Woodstock 2016










Oberschleisen are often referred to as 'Silesian Rammstein'. The band play a piercing variety of industrial metal. Apart from the accomplished musical compositions, the band draw the attention of the public and critics alike by the fact that their lyrics are written exclusively in the Silesian dialect. Since the onset of their career in 2008, the band has released two albums and gave countless concerts in Poland and abroad. 


New guests of Academy of the Finest Arts announced
Academy of the Finest Arts, or AFA, offers a unique space, tailored for inspiring discussions and conversations with the well-loved and respected artists, politicians, journalists, activists.

The Academy also holds concerts on what is now known as the Academy of the Finest Arts' Night Stage.The Night Stage hosts a variety of acts and attracts the audience with its intimate atmosphere and mellow mood.
Janina Ochojska

She is an unparalleled authority in the field of humanitarian work. Janina Ochojska is a founder and the president of PAH - Polish Humanitarian Action, bringing help and support where it is needed the most. PAH worked in Bosnia, Iran, Chechnya, Iraq, Sri Lanka, among others.


Piotr Rogucki


Rogucki is best known as a 
frontman of a popular rock band Coma. This year he returns to Woodstock Festival Poland with solo material. Experimental album 'J.P. Śliwa' includes music, visual arts, and dramatic text. Rogucki comments on condition of art in general. 


Karolina Korwin Piotrowska

Korwin Piotrowska is a publicist and a broadcaster, best known for the scathing analysis of celebrity world. The journalist has cooperated with a variety of national TV stations, magazines, and online services. She has penned two books. 






Another semifinal concert of Woodstock Preliminaries will take us to Łódź. This post-industrial town is well on its way to becoming a cultural hub of central Poland. The concert is free of charge, and the winners of the amazing rock music contest will have a chance to perform at Woodstock Festival Poland this year! We meet at 4pm in Wytwórnia Club on Saturday, April the 30th. 


Woodstock Festival Poland 


Woodstock Festival Poland is a huge free summer music festival held in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Poland. The festival is a non-commercial event. This year it will take place on 14 - 16 July.

The Festival is organized by the NGO Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation to acknowledge all volunteers and supporters who take part in the annual Grand Finale fundraiser in January. The mission of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is supporting healthcare in Poland, and the festival serves as a demonstration of gratitude for everyone involved in the nationwide fundraiser.

This year's line-up includes: Apocaliptica, Tarja Turunen, Bring Me the Horizon, Vintage Trouble, DragonForce, Chemia, The Rumjacks, Luxtorpeda, Living Colour, The Hives, and Molotov.
