Kensington to play at the Main Stage this year! 

The rockers from the Netherlands are coming back to Poland to perform at Woodstock Festival Poland this year. The band has played in Warsaw during the winter Grand Finale concert, and now they will perform for the massive festival audience in the summer. 

The band has been has been formed in 2005, and since then they have released 2 EPs and 3 studio albums. Kensington play an energetic variety of indie rock, effortlessly blending a variety of musical styles to produce catchy rock anthems. The band are veritable festival troupers, having played at different huge music events on different continents. Their winter show in Warsaw was an unforgettable experience, and we are looking forward to seeing them play this summer!

Academy of the Finest Arts 

Academy of the Finest Arts, or AFA, offers a unique space, tailored for inspiring discussions and conversations with the well-loved and respected artists, politicians, journalists, activists.

The Academy also holds concerts on what is now known as the Academy of the Finest Arts' Night Stage.The Night Stage hosts a variety of acts and attracts the audience with its intimate atmosphere and mellow mood.


Maciej Stuhr to appear at AFA   

He is an actor, stand-up comedian, and a compère. Having appeared in a variety of stage and screen productions, and collaborated with one of the best known directors,  he is a household name in Poland.

Daybreak Embrace to play at the Second Stage 

Formed in 2009, South Florida based band Daybreak Embrace aims to become more than a genre. Though their foundation is firm on energetic Rock, D/E members take pride in being true admirers of all music. Listening you may find they pull influence from many different directions such as Electronic, Alternative, R&B, Progressive, Metal, and more. In 2010, D/E released their first EP, "Tomorrow Awaits", under the direction of Producer Paul Trust, who also produced "Mercury", their second EP released in 2013. The singles from each EP, Suffocate and Severed, showcase the pursuit of songs that hit hard from all angles.

Marcelina to play at the Main Stage 

The vocalist, lyricist, and composer impressed the jury and the public at the semi-final concert of Woodstock Festival Poland, and was granted a fast pass to the Main Stage of the festival! Marcelina has released 3 albums and takes part in a variety of musical projects with other musicians. The vocalist plays indie pop, and seamlessly blends haunting blues sounds with poetic lyrics to produce beautiful, soul-searching songs.

New Preliminaries finalists announced in Łódź 
It was the first time our Preliminaries team visited Łódź. This post-industrial city is fast gaining a status of off the grid culture hub of central Poland and we were excited to bring some of that amazing Woodstock Festival Poland atmosphere to Wytwórnia Club in Łódź. 

Out of nine bands competing for a chance to perform at Woodstock this summer the jurors decided to invite 3 bands to the finale concert in Poznań
.


Aarch A
Aarch A presented a professional rock and roll set. They play melodic rock and roll music and the jury was impressed by their composure and stage presence. 
Hanza
Hanza play energetic and upbeat rock music. The young band took over the stage during their 20-minute set and wowed public and the jury alike. 
Lion Shepherd
The band play a tantalizing mixture of rock, trance and oriental folk music. They perfectly blend modern sounds with traditional instruments. 
Wiewiórka na drzewie will play at Viva Kultura Stage

Wiewiórka na drzewie, performed at the Łódź Preliminaries concert and received an invitation to plat at Viva Kultura Stage of Woodstock Festival Poland. The band play a blend of ska, reggae, and rock music and their music is an instant mood booster. 
Last Concert of Woodstock Preliminaries in Gdańsk 

The seaside city will host the last instalment of our unique Woodstock Preliminaries tour. The free concert will take place in Stary Maneż Club in Gdańsk on May the 14th.

Woodstock Festival Poland is a non-commercial event. We rely on sponsors' support, and we also prepared an unique treat for the guests of the festival. You can bid at our charitable auctions, supporting the organization of the Most Beautiful Festival in the World and winning amazing experience packs and one-of-a-kind items. 

We offer a variety of experience packs, such as front row seats, artist meet-and-greets, and an opportunity to see the shows from an especially designated balcony box on the Main and Second Stages. The exclusive stage box is available for all bands we have announced so far. The bidding war starts with just 1 PLN.

Woodstock Festival Poland 

Woodstock Festival Poland is a huge free summer music festival held in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Poland. The festival is a non-commercial event. This year it will take place on 14 - 16 July.

The Festival is organized by the NGO Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation to acknowledge all volunteers and supporters who take part in the annual Grand Finale fundraiser in January. The mission of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is supporting healthcare in Poland, and the festival serves as a demonstration of gratitude for everyone involved in the nationwide fundraiser.

This year's line-up includes: Apocaliptica, Tarja Turunen, Bring Me the Horizon, Vintage Trouble, DragonForce, Chemia, The Rumjacks, Kensington, Hey, Rocky Dawuni, Luxtorpeda, Living Colour, The Hives, and Molotov.
