Not that I agree with this approach...

However, I know for a fact that it's possible to do this - but to
do so you have to have a "cash cow" in place.

The cash cow pays your bills, while you sell your martial arts
lessons at half what your competitors are charging for a period
of a few months or more.

Long enough to put them under.

Me? I'd never do this.

Partly because I don't believe in pricing wars, and mostly
because I don't believe business is a zero-sum game.

There IS enough business for everyone.

However, with the right cash cow, think about how you can beat
your competition just by being BETTER and offering MORE than
they do...

Do you have enough cash flow to put your competition under if you
wanted to?

If not, you NEED at least one cash cow in your school.

What kind of cash cows am I talking about?

Think about it...

If you don't do it, maybe your competition will.

And chances are, they aren't as honorable as we are.

Your cash cows are your insurance policy against underhanded
competitors.
