Subject: What Should New Dojo Owners Focus On?

I see people recommending all kinds of stuff to new studio owners.

Usually, it goes something like this:

  • "You need to focus on your curriculum. Here, buy this certification course."
  • "You need to focus on systems. Here's a $10,000 consulting package -- buy it and I'll show you everything you need to know about systems."
  • "You need to focus on getting paid. Let our billing services handle that for you."
Look, it's not like you don't need to have those things squared away. You do. 

However, when you're just starting out there's really only one thing you should be focusing 80% of your attention and efforts on.
