Friend,

On The 8th Day of Christmas at the Dojo...

...we wrote our New Year's student reactivation letter. This is one of the most important things you can do to jump start your enrollments after January 1st, so don't skip this!

Besides that, it's a cheap and easy way to boost your enrollment numbers in January, and it takes nothing more than a few minutes to write a letter, and a half-hour or so to stuff and address envelopes.

Basically, all you're going to do is write a reactivation letter and send it out to all the students who started classes over the previous 12 months, but who for some reason or another dropped out or never enrolled after their trial period.

The reactivation letter doesn't need to be complicated. All it needs to say is that you miss seeing them in class and that you're offering them a free month to make it easier for them to come back to the dojo and begin training again.

That's it. No need to for anything complicated, and it doesn't even have to be a long letter. Sign each one personally and mail them out on December 31st.

Depending on how many you send out, this should be good for at least a half-dozen or more enrollments in the month of January.

Until next time,

P.S. - Avoid the hard sell in the letter. Just tell them you miss them and invite them back to class by offering them a free month. Keep it simple, short, and sweet and you'll get a much better response than you will with a hard sell.
