Hi Friend,

Today we're going to look into whether or not ongoing bookmaker offers are worth pursuing.

A good example of these offers appearing are each Saturday for the races showing on channel 4 (in the UK). The bookies know that there's a lot more betting activity when racing is shown on terrestrial channels, so they all start jostling for our attention.

This is good news for us. It means they are willing to give us offers they usually wouldn't. And while these offers may not be generally quite as good as welcome bonuses, they may be still worth taking a look at - here's some of the normal offers on a Saturday:

Bet365 / Ladbrokes / Betfair Sportsbook - gives you a free bet to the same stake if you hit a winner at 4/1 or over (Betfair is 3/1 or over).

William hill / Stan James / Boylesports - stake returned as a free bet if your horse finishes 2nd (MOBILE ONLY - place your bet on the mobile website / app on your phone/tablet).

These may not look particularly impressive on first glance, as we need to hit a certain result to get our refund. However, it really depends on how you use them.

Personally, I use the offers as part of my normal betting schedule. When placing my bets for the day, i'll simply make sure I place any channel 4 bets with one of the above firms (as long as they are offering top odds of course!)

On a monday morning, more often than not i'm greeted with a couple of free bets when logging back into my bookie accounts.

Over the course of a month it makes me an easy 8-12 extra points profit on average, with minimal effort.

There are of course offers like this on every day. However, they tend to change daily and can be pretty tricky to find. The last thing we want is to be trawling bookmaker sites for hours looking for offers.

Lucky for us, we don't have to - Use This Instead.

All the best,
Michael
