Live Tuesday Online Photography Chat
We're doing these every Tuesday during this crisis, it is a lot of fun and good to talk with other photographers. With nearly everyone locked down and sitting around staring at the walls, let's spend some time online chatting photography. We can talk about anything you want other than politics or religion. We can ask each other questions, talk about what we're doing creatively during this crazy time and even show some photos. There's no agenda, we'll talk about anything you like. Eliminating Objects in Photoshop free seminar
All too many times there is something in your photograph that is distracting and you want to remove it. Photoshop to the rescue! In this free one hour seminar I'll show you some easy ways and some more advanced ways to eliminate unwanted items from your photos. I'm a big believer that you're better off doing it when you are making the photo but too often there is nothing you can do about it or you just didn't notice it while looking through the camera. I'll show you how I use Photoshop's layering, cloning and Content Aware Fill to clean up photos.

Photoshop for Photographers
Photoshop is the ultimate image editing tool and is a complex beast. Learning it is intimidating and can be frustrating due to its extreme power. But most photographers don’t need to know everything Photoshop does. There are several tools that are extremely beneficial, a few things that wouldn’t be bad to know but aren’t essential and then there is a ton of stuff that few photographers really need but graphic designers would use. This workshop is for photographers, showing you some of the things you can use to improve the look of your photos. This workshop is not all comprehensive, there are some tools and techniques we won’t cover but I feel those things are for advanced users. This workshop, which is two 2-hour sessions, is designed to take the fear out of Photoshop and help you get going with the software. Click for more info

Resilience and Photography In These Tough Times
I was thrilled to be able to present a seminar with Beth Payner, an expert in resilience management who happens to be an amateur photographer. It was a great presentation on using photography to help us get through this troubling time. Her thoughts are great for photographers but also I think for anyone. You can watch the video at https://lorenphotos.com/2020/04/15/beth-payne-talks-about-using-photography-to-be-more-resilient/
