Last month was another wonderful Iceland workshop. This might have been the best weather I've seen yet. We had clear skies and low wind on all but one day. The aurora was doing it's dance and we shot it on three nights. Not only was it the best aurora I've seen there, on the last night we went out to a lighthouse near Reykjavik and as we were walking toward the lighthouse a man said to be careful because there was a seal laying right over there. Sure enough, when I shined my flashlight over and there it was. So I did a little light painting of the seal without getting too close to disturb it. A seal, lighthouse and aurora - what a great way to finish a trip.
