Subject: Indoor photo workshop session 1 video

Thanks for a great session last night. The video is ready at https://youtu.be/nnFc2QV35w8

I put out two challenges, shoot eggs with high key light and make a shot using complementary colors.

I suggest shooting one egg standing on end, then two and then three.

For the complementary color, try photographing something like a red apple or red pepper in front of its complementary color - green. The green can be from anything but watch how the colors work together and see if you can make the red really pop and stand our from the green.

Email me one of your egg photos and one complementary color photo. It can be the photo that worked best or the one that just didn't do what you had hoped for. Remember this isn't a photo contest, it isn't about getting a great photo, it is about doing an exercise and seeing what the outcome is so that when you are in a similar situation that matters you have another tool to use.

Our next session is Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m. EST. Please email your photos by noon on Feb. 17 so I have time to put everything together.
