Hi everyone,
Our France adventure is coming fast so I thought I'd send out an update.
We have a fun group from all over:
Tracy Hammond, New Haven, CT
Maria Passannante-Derr, New York, NY
Jeri Johnson, DeWitt, MI
Brian Horton, Long Beach Island, NJ
Richard DeBella, Naples, FL
Pamela Mallory, Wheelersburg, OH
Gail Gauken, Bald Head Island, NC
In Paris we’re staying at the Hotel Saint-Roch, which is only a couple of blocks from The Louvre. It isn't fancy but the location is great and the room will be in your name. I will be there early so call my cell phone at 908-229-347 if you need anything. We'll meet in the lobby on Sunday, May 31 at 5:00 to get acquinted, go to dinner and then photograph the Eiffel Tower. We'll spend a couple of days in Paris, photographing well known and not so well known spots.
On Wednesday morning, we will take the train to Montpelier. We will be met by our local guide and go to the town of Aigues-Mortes where we will be staying at Les Jardins du Canal. We will be using waders provided by our local guide and they need your shoe size, please send that to me right away.
When the workshop is over we will be taken back to Montpelier by noon where you will either catch a plane or train. I'm taking the train back to Paris and staying at the Marriott Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, which is right by the airport. The train from Montpelier goes right there. I fly out on Monday.
I'd like to have a get together on April 26 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. It is a chance to meet each other and have any questions answered. If you can't make it, I will record it and you'll be able to watch later. Here's the Zoom info: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88989201828?pwd=k94HKoTFVEJ7YDmapgZH4A6vLqLCDF.1
Meeting ID: 889 8920 1828
Passcode: 432268
Please let me know if you will be attending.
I do have one final piece of business, please fill out the emergency contact form and release at https://www.lorenphotos.com/page/france-contact/. Please fill out the form right away.
I'll send another note in a couple weeks with a few more details about photographing the horses. If you have any questions before then, just let me know.
