The eclipse is coming soon and I'm really excited to get to Dallas and see the big solar show!

This Sunday at 4:00 p.m. is our Zoom session to talk about what to expect and answer any questions you may have at this point. If you can't make it Sunday I will record it and send out the link on Monday. Here's the login info:

One thing that I had mentioned before was setting up a bonus remote camera. Brian and I have been digging hard on how to make this work and it is rather complicated. Since there will be different camera brands and models and we won't be able to test our system in advance and wouldn't have time to make modifications in Dallas, I have decided to skip the bonus remote and have all of us will be together in one place.

As a reminder, we'll get together for dinner at 6:00 p.m on Saturday, April 6. After dinner we will have a little craft session and make solar filters for those who don't have one. I'll give you more info on that during our Zoom session. Then on Sunday we'll have a full run through of our shoot. We'll go to our location with all our gear and practice photographing the sun. I want each of you to feel totally comfortable with your setup and be able to quickly take your solar filters off your cameras. Then on Monday we'll get in our location early, get set up and wait for the excitement. It will be exhilarating, people will be screaming and crying when totality arrives, especially me.

Just so you know, I have purchased solar glasses for each of you, so you don't need to get any yourself.
