Hi everyone,
Well, it was a good session - eventually! I'm sorry about my Internet going out at my house me needing to run to my gallery to do the presentation. And then when we were done the video didn't get recorded. So I redid the presentation today and uploaded the video. It is a good bit shorter since there aren't any comments or questions. Thanks for bearing with me.
Anyway, you can see the video at https://youtu.be/quWZrE0xvAY
To clarify the challenge, I'm suggesting you do several photos while shooting intentionally for Black and White. They can be in your house or outdoors. I suggest shooting something new and not just pull something from your files. This is about seeing.
Focus on: Strong light and shadow Clear shapes Clean compositions
Pick two photos that either work or don't work and email them to me before noon on March 9. We'll discuss the photos, just remember that this isn't a competition and send photos even you think they aren't good enough. They are, this is an exercise and it is about thinking in black & white and not how creative you can be. And if you don't get them done, please don't skip the next session because you are embarrassed.
As a reminder the next session is Monday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. The Zoom link is the same for all the sessions:
