This topic keeps coming up so I wanted to share a bit about it...
One of the things that holds us back from stepping into our power is making the wrong people priorities in our life.
We all have wonderful gifts to share, like love, compassion, laughter, inspiration and many MANY others.
If your gifts aren't being shared because someone in your life drains your energy, time or emotional reserves, take a closer look at that relationship.

| | YOU need to be one of YOUR top priorities.
IT ISN'T SELFISH, IT'S SELF-CARE
With good self-care (enough sleep, good nutrition, me-time, physical exercise, spiritual connection, etc.), you are strong and healthy - able to care for those you love.
It also includes respecting yourself and choosing empowering people to be around.
First, be sure you are treating people the way you want to be treated.
Second, ask yourself these questions about the people in your life and re-evaluate who deserves to be a priority.
- How do I feel about yourself when I'm with them?
- Do they make time for me?
- Do I feel respected, loved and appreciated by them?
- What do they add to my life?
- What do they take away from my life?
