At the end of August, I realized I needed some new friends. My friends were very busy and I needed a larger friend-pool to draw from to go do things with. 💖

So, I said, "Hey God, I need some new, positive women friends my age!"

The very next day, I saw a photo of 20 women in my area and in my age-range having breakfast outside and smiling on a Facebook post! It was a new women over 50 friend group in my neighborhood!

What?

Yep. Whoever you deem as your creator works FAST... especially when you place a specific and positive-for-everyone order with them. 😉

The group had about 99 people in it when I joined.

A couple days after, the group had THREE HUNDRED members!

Six weeks later... 1,100 members as of right now!

THIS is how many women in my area are looking for other positive-minded, fun women over 50 to do things with! 

Some have husbands who may not like to do the same things. Some are single, like me, or widowed and do things on their own but also want to do things with other fun women.

And guess what... the next 20-women breakfast was last Saturday and... I'm in the picture! (below)

WE NEED POSITIVE ADULT WOMEN FRIENDS, Friend!

I was just talking with a new friend from a manifesting program I'm in and she looked on Facebook in Miami where she lives and found some women over 50 groups for herself! 🤗

It can take just a little bit of research to find POSITIVE women friends your age.

IF they aren't positive, it's a pass. A "NO".

You deserve to be empowered and supported and inspired as YOU support and inspire other women friends.

IT'S OKAY TO BE PICKY. This is your life and your happiness. It's up to YOU to protect it.

I've been to 3 events so far, one I planned myself and I have others in the future women are RSVP'ing for. Here are two in photos. The breakfast and yesterday's walk around the lake.

I also met a woman for Boba and we chatted for 2 hours and two others I had chick-chats with on the phone to get to know each other. These were fun! One was 2 hours and one was 3 hours.

Of course, they can be shorter if you aren't finding yourself on the same page... or even in the same "book" - meaning not a good fit.

For example, at the first event I organized the week I joined, there was a woman who insisted on talking about cancer...

NOPE! If she wants to do that on her own time, fine. I kept guiding her to talk about more positive topics at the event and she and the other members thanked me. 💖

The whole idea is to leave your woes at home and come and laugh and be happy with other cool women. THAT is more healing than any illness-talk.

YOU CAN DO THIS! If there isn't a group in your area yet, start one! 🤗 You'll find some of the members are happy to help you run it so it doesn't take up a lot of your time or become stressful for you.
