Thirty two years ago at the age of 22, I had the privilege of working closely with an American Indian Medicine Man who taught me how to access my inner power and re-design my life.
He was my teacher, mentor, friend and family member for the next 14 years.
I picked his brain, hung out in his office ...and his home, wherever he happened to be. I traveled with him and he was always at my family's holiday celebrations.
I went to pow-wows (I'm Choctaw and Cherokee, he was Blackfoot) where he made me dance in the circle even though I felt silly. And I went with him to Indian reservations to watch him heal people before my eyes. Truly amazing education!
Having never felt like I fit in anywhere, he was definitely my kindred spirit. We fit.
He taught me how to design my own life around what I love most. Today, I get to show women how to access THEIR inner power and re-design THEIR life.
And every day, I step into my own power a little bit more. |
