Have you ever felt lost?
Emotionally... mentally... or spiritually lost?
I remember feeling all of the above several times in my life and even when I was around other people, so not physically lost.
Learning hypnosis and other energy work early on didn't prevent my need to learn lessons I came here to learn. I thought I should be able to conquer anything and bypass the icky parts of life but that isn't how it works...
Feeling lost is a desperate, lonely, scary feeling that comes from being disconnected from family, friends, a body you don't like, a relationship, work, your life purpose, etc.
Connection is one of our basic human psychological needs. That's why being disconnected hurts so much. It's literally against our nature.
We stay in dangerous relationships too long because it's meeting our need for connection ...even if it's painful. (I've done that twice.)
We put up with adult bullies, toxic friends and unfair bosses and coworkers because at least we're connected to someone ...even if they are bad for us. (I've done that more times than I can count.)
If you are feeling lost, you're certainly not alone.
A lot of people feel disconnected in their relationship, health, finances or work. And if they all got together, they would far outnumber confident, happy people.
Let me know if understanding why you feel lost sometimes is helpful. I'm a HUGE fan of understanding why things happen so it makes it easier to let go and move on.
