Introducing my Newest Project for Giving Back |
For a long time I have toyed with the idea of rugs, scarves, other textile designs and fabrics. I have always loved scarves since I lived in Paris. The Artist Giving Pledge has also inspired me to try to be the artist who finds ways to create synergy and philanthropic objectives that have an impact. Inspired by Love Your Melon ---find a way to make abundance for everyone and find a product that could create social impact. Vida is also such a company!
I BELIEVE AS THEY BELIEVE, "IT'S TIME TO REBUILD COMMERCE - FOR THE MINDFUL, GLOBAL CITIZENS OF THE MODERN WORLD.” |

"VIDA’S STORY IS THAT OF THE RICH, INTERCONNECTED WORLD WE LIVE IN -- THE STORY OF CONTEMPORARY LIFE AND MINDFUL, GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP. WE ARE A GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP OF CO-CREATORS, FROM A DESIGNER IN PARIS, TO A PRODUCER IN KARACHI, AND A CONSUMER IN SAN FRANCISCO." |

I see endless possibilities working with a partner like this who contributes to an arts-driven philanthropy around the world. |

BomBas is a simple sock company that has a great mantra: Derived from the Latin word for bumblebee. Bees live in a hive and work together to make their world a better place. They're small, but their combined actions have a big impact on the world. |

There are over thirty to choose from. Each original is designed from actual paintings that have been reworked as textile designs for these custom made scarfs. The Artist Giving Pledge is about donating works and creating lasting impact to reinvent the artist of the 21st Century. Please join me! |
