Riddles and Rhymes for Engineering a Synectic Algorithm
This new series of paintings sets out to further explore my fascination with the synectics-concept as a randomized algorithm and new kind of science. The process of painting is only an extension of contemplating the complex workings of the universe. To pursuit this process, for me, is to dig deeply into the nature of consciousness itself.

Defining the Language of Synectics
My collective body of paintings although purely gestural abstraction on canvas, has been a running discourse where these titles are like conceptual placeholders for a dialog that defines synectics as a conversation connecting the dots within a huge matrix of purely abstract ideas and concepts.  Synectics has been described by several scholars as a beyond brainstorming approach to problem solving. I use this approach as a way to interact with the web and integrate search engine protocols that lead me to the discovery of vastly esoteric subjects, texts and symbols buried in a googolplex of data. I find poetry in this unique mathematical language in these many varying degrees of separation.

EPHEMERALIZATION, SYNCHRONICITY AND THE POWER OF TEN
In this current series of titles, I have chosen a fusion of language from both Sufi and Kabbalistic mysticism. All of the concepts share the same theme and ideas about a Tree of Life, a Science of Letters, and a Path of Illumination, determined to find the Straight Path and discover the Duties of the Heart. The ideas for the titles crisscross and connect like a mind-map between ancient mysticism and modern science; each piece presenting clues for understanding both future mindsteps and other symbols for unlocking a path to the most hidden of all hidden
