Hi Friend Laura, Christine and I took a nice walk through the woods on the grounds after the retreat and it surely was the icing on a beautiful cake for me. Having all of you amazing women there was an incredible blessing and I appreciate you attending!
We received great reviews, and I want to give a special thanks to Shang and Stephanie for their vulnerability and amazing stories. We were all blessed and we want to invite you to join us again! I already talked to Barb at the Center about doing another retreat, this one overnight, and we just need to give her a date and we can start planning.
I had a crazy busy week so I haven't finished editing the replay yet but I will hopefully get it done tomorrow and if you join us at the fireside chat tomorrow night I can give you the link otherwise I will email it to you.
In the meantime, I want to remind you of some of the free resources that are available for you to use: The Sunday Night Fireside Chats REGISTER HERE The 7-day sobriety challenge which was just 5 days before is great if you're trying to curb your habits for anything in your life from alcohol to food or anything else. Thank you again for a beautiful day full of connection and inspiration. You all were such a treat to have with us (virtually or in-person.)
I want to leave you with a couple more nuggets of wisdom to think about around expectations:
“Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.” — Alexander Pope “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” — Martin Luther King Jr. “When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.” — Donald Miller “Trade your expectations for appreciation and your whole world changes in an instant.” — Tony Robbins “Expectations were like fine pottery. The harder you held them, the more likely they were to crack.” — Brandon Sanderson
Love and Blessings! Linda
