STEP 4- Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves
CHALLENGE So you don't like someone? Whether it is a political candidate, an ex-spouse or lover, or anyone else, there is no room in our lives for hatred. If we are going to live in peace, we must not expect others to act the way we think they should because we cannot control them, which will drive us crazy. The best solution is always to treat others how we would like to be treated. We don't have to think they deserve it. For our sake, not for theirs, allowing our higher power to love through us is always the best option. Are we willing to accept and show God's love to those who seem unlovable? HOPE
"Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool. Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut." Proverbs (10:18-19) PRAYER
God, I know I don't need to like everyone, but you command that I love them. Help me to desire to love my enemies and those that are living a life that is not centered around You.
SPEAK TO ME GOD My Child, When I sent My Son to earth, I did so because mankind needed a Savior. They needed to have an example of what true love is where through My Spirit, you are able to love those who hate you and who do evil things against you. Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice as an example of unconditional love to others who are doing evil so you humans would know all things are possible through Me. You must remember that I work all things together for good and I am much more concerned about the things of this world than you ever could be. I will repay evil for evil. You are to love that the world may see the power of My Spirit.
RESPONSE God, I will love others with Your love.
