Dropping the Stone

How many second chances have you received in your life? I’ve had so many, I’ve lost count. I suppose the real question we should ask is: How many second chances have I given others? The willingness to withhold judgment, to give the second chance, to drop the stone (so to speak), can be a real test of our Christian commitment.

apostolic-times.com continues with context for the season's readings. In Philippians 3, St. Paul yearned to be with Christ but he also knew God wasn't done with him yet. In John 8, Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in sin.
