Look!

Has someone ever shouted to get your attention? Between the loud hucksters on television commercials and the people of authority in life, I’m afraid we face shouts every day of our lives. But, how many of these people get our attention? More importantly, how many of these people point us to something truly worthwhile? This Sunday, let John the Baptist be that messenger with a worthwhile message.

apostolic-times.com continues with context for the season's readings. In 1 Corinthians 1, St Paul greeted the church in Corinth. In John 1, John pointed to Jesus as the Lamb of God.
