Concert with Katt Hernandez

Time: December 13 at 7.30 pm

Location: Konsthall C

Free entry, all is welcome!

Welcome to a concert and talk at Konsthall C, where you get a chance to reflect on the city through music.

Stockholm has buildings that have been there for centuries, but is also full of modern and contemporary architectures, all jostling for their place in parallel collective memory.

The materials in Katt Hernandez eight year sound-based research project are drawn around themes of urban memory and transformation, psychogeography and the ghosts of the imagined city.

During the event Hernandez will present a selection of sound works from The Ephemeral City: Songs for the Ghost Quarters, but also a brand new composition she has created specifically focusing on Hökarängens acoustic ecologies. After the performance the artist will be in conversation with artistic director Ulrika Flink (Konsthall C), and independent curator Anna Kontopoulou (Konsthall C).

Reminder: SKULD at Konsthall C

Dates: December 15–17

Location: Konsthall C

Don't miss next weekends guest appearance by Poste Restante and choregrapher Majula Drammeh, who will take you on a journey through our Swedish history.

Skuld is a participant-based performance, a community dance in the footsteps of colonialism with someone else's shoes on.
