The CKK VacuForge™ is not another iteration on an old idea. The pre-installed heavy-duty vacuum membrane seals against a raised edge on the vacuum chamber base, retained by a magnetic lid design that holds the lid in place before initial vacuum drawdown. The lid uses a "pinch" retention system — the most secure and easiest-to-replace membrane retainer on the market today. Vacuum drawdown is smooth and fast, requiring as little air volume as possible to mold a pre-heated workpiece cleanly and accurately.
