Welcome to Kindle Publishing for Writers
I am going to assume that you don't yet know who I am or why you should continue reading my newsletter.
I started writing for profit during the 1990's, then beginning in 2000, I started ghost writing for some of the biggest names in Internet Marketing. In 2002, I started syndicating articles written by other writers. At several junctures, I was earning enough from my writing to quit my job, but because I had a family to support, I delayed quitting my job until March of 2005. For the last almost nine years, I have supported my family almost entirely from what I have earned as a professional writer.
Until 2010, I had supported myself doing ghost writing, article marketing, article syndication and SEO. In 2010, I began to get involved in product creation. Then in 2012, I jumped with both feet into Kindle publishing. I still do article marketing to promote my offers online, but I haven't done a ghost writing job or accepted an article syndication job since 2010.
Although I had written several books for the Amazon marketplace going back to 2005 and I had helped a number of book authors promote themselves online, I did not start creating my own books until 2012.
Within this newsletter, I am going to advise on the following topics:
- How to become a better writer;
- How to write better fiction;
- How to write compelling non-fiction;
- How to find book topics that sell;
- How to write more books more quickly;
- How to create book titles that get the attention you want;
- How to structure book descriptions that sell more books;
- How to design better book covers;
- How to market your books, inside and outside of Amazon;
- How to use other book-seller platforms;
- How to self-publish print books;
- How to reach bigger audiences with your writing;
- How to get more reviews for your books;
- How to utilize an author's blog and author's mailing list to sell more books;
- Where to promote your books online;
- And, much more...
As an article marketer, I wrote articles under 22 pen names. As a book author, I currently have books that I have published under 12 pen names.
Going forward, I will be sending you information related to the aforementioned bullet points. I will also be sending out reviews of products that I have found.
Each week, I personally review 2-3 products that have been created for book authors, then I tell you about those products -- the good, the bad and the ugly. I will tell you what I liked about a product and what I hated about the product. Then you can decide if you think that particular product may be helpful to you.
Be aware that I do send out affiliate links with the products I review.
If at any point in the future you decide that you don't want to receive any more emails from me, you will find an Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email I send out.
Also, if you are ever inspired to hit Reply on an email I send out, please do so. I love hearing from my readers.
