Join us on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Chess Zone in Roswell for a special Chess Festival, hosted by Kid Chess to welcome A Step Ahead Chess, a nonprofit chess organization visiting from Chicago.

What’s Happening?

Kid Chess is excited to welcome 13 talented players and 5 coaches from A Step Ahead Chess, an organization known for its excellence in chess instruction and student success. This is a great opportunity for your child to meet, learn from, and compete with peers from another city!

ATL vs CHI Bughouse Team Battle
Simultaneous Exhibition with National Master Alex Rutten
Puzzle-Solving Contest
Blitz Tournament
“Coach Swap” Sessions – Atlanta and Chicago coaches trade students
Social Time to connect and make new chess friends

Lunch is provided, and we’re expecting local news coverage!

Note: A Step Ahead Chess will be bringing a videographer for their own marketing purposes. Your child may be filmed as part of this.
