Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at The Walker School! We are excited about seeing all our chess students Friday, August 28th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

The Walker School Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Friday, starting August 28th, and ending December 11th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 3:15pm - 4:15pm
• 2nd Hr - 4:20pm - 5:20pm

Club location
Media Center/Winship Library

Club does not meet
10/9, 10/16, & 11/27

Pick up location

Dismissal will be in the EDP room.

* On days when chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

**Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
