Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Shakerag! We are excited about seeing all our chess students Thursday, September 3rd.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Shakerag Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Thursday, starting September 3rd, and ending December 3rd, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:45pm - 3:45pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:50pm - 4:50pm

Club location
Media Center

Club does not meet
9/24 & 11/26

Pick up location

Dismissal will be in the media center. Parents will need to come in and retrieve their child from the media center exit.

* On days when chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

**Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
