Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Murdock! We are excited about seeing all our chess students on Monday, August 24th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Murdock Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Monday, starting August 24th, and ending November 16th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:30pm to 3:30pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:35pm to 4:35pm

Club location
Professional Learning Room

Club does not meet
9/7, 9/21, & 10/12

Pick up location

Dismissal will be from the ASP/Bus Side entrance. Parents will need to park and walk up to these doors to pick up their child.

* On Days when the chess club meets, please update GoSafe with Club or ASP as needed to attend chess after school. Without updated dismissal, students will not be able to attend club.

** Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
