Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Dowell! We are excited about seeing all our chess students on Tuesday August, 25th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Dowell Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Tuesday, starting August 25th, and ending December 8th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:40pm to 3:40pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:50pm to 4:50pm

Club location
Media Center

Club does not meet
9/22, 10/13, 11/3, & 11/24

Pick up location

Dismissal will be located at carpool and Parents must present IDs.

* On Days when the chess club meets, please update GoSafe with Club or ASP as needed to attend chess after school. Without updated dismissal, students will not be able to attend club.

** Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
