Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Cogburn Woods! We are excited about seeing all our chess students September 4th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Cogburn Woods Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Thursday, starting September 4th, and ending December 4th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

• 2nd Hr 3:35 pm - 4:35 pm

Media Center

Club does not meet
10/16, 11/27

Pick up location

Carpool is at the Cafeteria Entrance. Students will wait under the overhang for the parents to pull up.

* On days when chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

** We will notify you by email in the event of changes to class times, locations and/or dates.
