Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Mountain View! We are excited about seeing all our chess students on Wednesday, August 19th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Mountain View Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Wednesday, starting August 19th, and ending December 12th, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:20pm to 3:20pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:30pm to 4:30pm

Club location
Cafeteria

Club does not meet
9/23, 10/14, & 11/25

Pick up location

Carpool line will be from the cafeteria doors on the right-side of the school building.

* On Days when the chess club meets, please update GoSafe with Club or ASP as needed to attend chess after school. Without updated dismissal, students will not be able to attend club.

** Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
