Dear Kid Chess Parents,

Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Virginia Highlands! We are excited about seeing all our chess students September 8th.

This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Virginia-Highland Chess Club

Days & dates
Club meets on Thursday, starting September 8th, and ending December 1st, with Trophy Day.

Club times
• 1st Hr - 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:40 pm - 4:40 pm

Media Center

Club does not meet
09/22, 10/13, and 11/24

Pick up location

Park and enter Front Office doors for student pickup.

* On Days when the chess club meets, please send your child to school with a note for their teacher saying that they will be attending chess after school.

** We will notify you by email in the event of changes to class times, locations and/or dates.
