Dear Kid Chess Parents,


Welcome to the Kid Chess club at Davis! We are excited about seeing all our chess students on Thursday, September 3rd.
 
This semester will be filled with exciting chess, bughouse, and blitz games and targeted lessons to ensure your young chess player increases their skills and interest in the game.

Davis Chess Club

Club meets on Thursday, starting September 3rd, and ending November 19th, with Trophy Day.

• 1st Hr - 2:35pm to 3:35pm
• 2nd Hr - 3:40pm to 4:40pm

Pick up location

We will be dismissing via car pool at the front of the school. Before clubs begin,

dismissal placards will be sent home in your child’s folder. You must display this placard on your dashboard when in carpool line.

If you will be having an alternate person picking your child up, please send us an email letting us know the person’s full name, and remind them to bring their ID to pickup. If you do not have your placard, or an unauthorized individual has come to pick the child up, you will need to park and enter the school to check the child out in the front office.

* On Days when the chess club meets, please update GoSafe with Club or ASP as needed to attend chess after school. Without updated dismissal, students will not be able to attend club.

** Second-hour drop-off: Please arrive at the first-hour dismissal, and our coaches will receive your child from there.
