Hello Parents,

We’re excited to welcome your child to Kid Chess Summer Camp June 8 – 12, 2026! We’re looking forward to a fun week of learning, strategy, and chess.

Campers will play, learn, and compete while working with Kid Chess coaches. Activities may include lessons, puzzles, tournaments, Bughouse, Blitz, Blindfold Chess, teaching simuls, obstacle courses, and activity breaks.

During camp, students may work with different coaches throughout the day or week. If you’d like an update on how your child is doing, please feel free to ask a coach. They’ll be happy to help or direct you to a coach who has worked with your child.

We can’t wait to see everyone!

Important Reminders

Sign-In, Sign-Out & Late Pick-Up

Parents must come inside to sign their child in and out each day. If you are running more than 5 minutes late for pick-up, please call or text 770-575-5802.

Medical

Please send written instructions for any medication your child needs during camp hours, including dosage times, amounts, and a contact phone number. Please also let us know about any allergies.

Lunch & Snack

Morning and full-day campers should bring lunch unless it was pre-purchased during registration. Full-day and afternoon campers may also bring a snack.

Nut-Free Reminder

Please do not send any items containing nuts.

Approximately the following times:

Morning campers: 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon campers: 4:30 p.m.
Full-day campers: 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Parents are welcome to return around these times to watch the awards.
