Subject: Your chance to catch a comet

Hello Friend,

Last night I finally had an opportunity to observe Comet Lovejoy.

Using a pair of 10 x 42 Binoculars, under the dark (but moonlit) skies, here in
the North,  I found it quiet easily, just below Orion's right leg, and in the
constellation of Lepus.

I had to bundle up in a parka too, to stay warm, since the wind chill kicked in.

And, if you are interested in knowing more, here is in interesting article on the
Comet, and how to find it:

Now it's a fuzzy ball, and no tail visible, but not hard to find at all.

Good luck, Friend!

And before we ring in the new year for 2015, just a reminder that today is the last day to
take advantage of a few promotions, from the following companies in particular.

  • Meade  (LX90 & LX200)
  • Celestron  (Nexstar series and CCD imaging cameras)
  • Skywatcher  (telescopes)
  • Explore Scientific (Telescopes & eyepieces)

You will find all the details on the website at www.khanscope.com main page.

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan

PS Wishing you a healthy, happy and prosperous 2015.
