Subject: Praise the Lord, and pass the collection plate.

Hello Friend,

Years ago I used to go to church on Sunday with my family,

We  had a decent  Pastor by the name
of Earl MacNutt.

Most times he would read some scripture and discuss the moral implications of it and how it affected
us in society.

I enjoyed listening to him.  He was a good communicator.

The Bible does have some good stories in it.  As for being the word of God
that's up for debate.

It's just when they added all the Ye's and other gobbledygook folks lost interest.

Kinda like when someone would occasionally speak in tongues. (Work of the devil, perhaps?)

The best part of all, was heading out for brunch after church and having an excellent pancake breakfast and reading
the Sunday newspaper.

When Pastor McNutt retired, the new pastor spoke broken English and was boring........so I stopped going to church.

That was it.

Back in the day, you couldn't even shop in Toronto on a Sunday.  All stores were closed by law.

Today you can shop on Sunday (Our retail store is open from 11-6) or you can buy online 24/7.

For example: Have you checked out our Daily Deals section lately?

direct link: https://khanscope.com/collections/daily-deals

If's full of deals that change on a regular basis. So I suggest you check it out on a regular basis.

Treat it like Bible Study if you will.  On that note, here is a quick quote of the late Pastor.

"Oh Ye, of little faith!" " His eye is on the Sparrow and he watches over you.  "

Enjoy your Sunday.

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan

PS  The collection plate at the end of the service was always fascinating. People always seemed to be uncomfortable
about putting money into it. Likely they felt guilty that is was not enough.
