Celestron Origin Mark II, like new. The nebula filter is already in the box.
This Origin came back to us this week. We checked it over and it's in like-new condition. We've packed it with the two accessories most Origin owners buy for city skies, so it's ready to image from a light-polluted backyard on the first clear night.

Pegasus Astro SmartEye
If you already own a telescope you like, the SmartEye adds live imaging to it. It goes in a 2" focuser like a regular eyepiece. A Sony IMX533 colour sensor keeps gathering light, and a sharp display under the eyecup shows the image as it builds. Faint galaxies that look like grey smudges in a normal eyepiece show colour and structure.
90° field · 12mm eye relief · diopter +1 to −5 · SkySafari on your phone · saves FITS to SD · Wi-Fi + Bluetooth · USB-C · rated −20°C
Works best at f/7 or faster on a tracking mount. Slower scopes need a focal reducer. Ask us which one fits your setup.

In-house repair service
Repairs done here in Toronto, not shipped overseas
We repair mounts, GoTo electronics, astronomy cameras, focusers and filter wheels from all major brands, and we collimate Newtonians, SCTs and Cassegrains. Our technicians do the work here at Dufferin Street. Nothing gets crated up and sent back to the factory.
A customer's ZWO AM3 was left out in heavy rain while he was in hospital, and afterwards it wouldn't power on. Our technicians had it on the bench within hours, replaced the damaged components, bench-tested it and handed it back working.
Before winter is a good time for a check. Bring in anything that's been tracking poorly, missing GoTo targets or losing its USB connection since summer.
1 Call, email or walk in and tell us what's wrong. |
2 We inspect it and quote before any work starts. |
3 We repair it, bench-test it and hand it back. |
