Hello Folks,
If you enjoy hiking in remote woods, and provincial parks, like I do, then you will definitely, want to keep
in mind this survival tactic if attacked by a Grizzly bear. (hint: let it have your telescope instead!)
I have often given thought about I would do if encoutering a bear (which actually happened once, while
camping in Killarney Provincial Park! I woke up to find a black bear about 30 yards from my tent,and I was
shaking like a leaf, until my buddy picked up pots and pans and scared the bear away, Probably helped that he was also
over 6ft tall!)
This worked for Deb Freele from London, Ontario who was recently attacked in Soda Butte Campground in Yellowstone Park:
After being attacked, and bitten:She played dead! Even after the bear bit her arm twice. As a result, it let her go and she is still around to talk about it.
Remember! Yogi is in Jellystone park, and is only interested in Picnic baskets! As for BooBoo.................
