As a general rule of thumb, it's been my experience, after having been in the telescope industry for over 30 years,
that Meade Instruments is generally very slow in shipping any new product till well after they announce it.

I have just sort of taken it for granted, that eventually the product will show up after seeing the ads in the
major Astronomy magazines.

So imagine my surprise this week, when a shipment arrived of the recently announced Meade LX850 mount
with Starlock® arrived at our store.

Well, needless to say, it did not take us very long to tear open the boxes (it's always like Christmas morning when
we receive any new astronomy related product) and put this puppy together!

And so, now it's actually on display in the Khan Scope Centre Showroom!

And....if you happen to be in the neighbourhood, you are invited to drop by and check it out......(if you are in some
remote place like Timbuktu, then it may take a while. We understand! )
