I'd like to share what I'm doing this Christmas.

And it's completely different to the other 58 Christmases in my life.

Because I'm going to help build into other people's lives in a special way.

I'm going to buy a goat.

I'll be visiting one of several different organizations... 'Save the Children' and 'World Vision'... and make a charitable investment. For example, I can buy a goat for a poor African family for around $40.

It will provide them with a constant supply of milk - or they can turn it into a business.

'Save The Children' say on their website: "Goats are great, because they give a mother a way to enrich her children's diet with milk."

"As the herd grows, she'll be able to use the goats for meat or sell them to provide much-needed income."

"This gift is great for building a secure future as well as changing a family's life now."

The charitable organization buys the goat on my behalf, and sends a gift card to the person in my family that I nominate so they know what I'm doing.

My family don't need stuff... they already have as much as they could ever want. I hope this example might change their perspective on the importance of giving.

But I'm really talking about using a small amount of money to make a big difference in someone's lives.

You don't have to buy a goat... for less than that amount you can start building your own business.

But like a goat it will keep growing and building an income for you.
