To my horror, this afternoon I discovered my Lotto Life blog at
http://thelottolife.com looked like a dog's breakfast... all
higglety-pigglety.

Not only that, it had looked this way for users of Internet
Explorer for nearly a week!

Took me a while to figure out what went wrong, but it's now fixed
up.

So if you got disgusted with the crazy look and decided never to
return, I implore you to give me another chance :)

The rest of this brief story is how it happened...

It went like this: an oversize photo was placed on the blog (oh,
OK, admission of guilt here - I didn't resize it correctly!),
which caused all the columns to shift out of kilter.

Browsers that I use to check it... like Opera, Safari and Google
Chrome - all compensated and the site looked normal.

But the most used browser - Internet Explorer, used by 44% of my
viewers - didn't fix it.

I've never been keen on IE anyway... it's too slow - Chrome is
probably 10x faster to load. So I only check my work out on IE
occasionally.

What a disaster in the making that was!
