Kevin Kimwelle ma este 8 órától tart előadást a témában a KÉK projekt galériájában. Jelenleg egy közösségi központ létrehozásán dolgozik Dél-Afrikában, Port Elizabeth-ben, melyet halmozottan hátrányos közeg, limitált víz és áram ellátás, kiépített utak hiánya, valamint magas munkanélküliség jellemez. A projekt arra keresi a válaszokat, hogy hogyan lehet az építészeti design a társadalmi változás mozgatórugója, zöld építészeti módszerekkel.

Kevin Kimwell's presentation draws attention to the urgency of participation in social change and the role of sustainable design/architecture in providing green alternative solutions to marginalised and poor communities. The presentation is the journey of a doctoral research project in one of the poorest South African township in Port Elizabeth where a unique and alternative community centre gives dignity and humane living environment to the poor.
