Meet Hattie, a school teacher from Missouri who was jilted just before her wedding. Feeling completely rejected, Hattie agrees to be a mail order bride to a farmer out west. Reuben Grant, her new husband, is handsome and a hard worker. Unfortunately, she did not know his mother and 3 brother’s lives with him and Ma has no plans to let a new woman take charge.
