For the second consecutive year, the Amazon bestseller list for Romantic Comedy, aka rom-com, is now the #2 highest-selling romance sub-category (right after contemporary romance.)
And the search volume on Google for "rom-com books" has quadrupled over the last four years.
Of course, the boundaries between "classic romantic comedy" and "any romance with lots of laughter" are fluid.
